The new (?) single page Quick Guides are a great addition!

Doing a one-person show is always a challenge, but also great fun because it allows freedom, spontaneity and adaptability. I confess, I could do without social media 😋 Your projects are impressive - keep up the good work!

PS. The faulty QSG tab/document titles can be found in the Document Properties of each PDF, which includes various metadata fields, i.e. kept separate from a possibly later edited file name etc.

Yes, I saw it in Adobe, but until just now I didn't know where the wrong title came from. But I have solved it. It's a strange way of my publishing program not to use the document name for the document title. I have to change it every time I create a new PDF file.

regarding the impression you got with regards to "no fewer queries" etc as per above, I think maybe you could/should improve discoverability of these QSG's by a few different measures:

• First of all, since the QSG's are a fairly new (?) addition and not yet available for all products, it will likely take time for them to be more broadly discovered (cf. myself being a case in point here; I only discovered them now, despite being an obvious STM fan (hehe) and hence re-visiting your website every now and then).

• Taking the Cion page as an example, the QSG link is located at the bottom of the page, beneath the description which previously didn't include such a link, and hence not something you may be looking for yet. I think maybe this QSG link would be better placed together with the link to the rest of the Documentation further up the page.

• ...which, by the way - after no less than three (slooow, see below) further navigational clicks to get to the Cion subfolder - does NOT include the Cion QSG... 😉

• Speaking of which, (1) I really think you should reconsider the current Supporting Files mish-mash of having "last updated" and "item name" (alphabetical) product sorting used pseudo-concurrently as the default; IMO it'd be much preferable to have it all sorted alphabetically by default and just logically scroll down to the product you're interested in. And (2), while I may not be aware of the rationale behind your choice of tech for the Supporting Files section, it is arguably both quite slow and not always that easy to navigate back and forth. By the way, (3) could each product page link directly to its own documentation folder, rather than needing 3 additional clicks and scrolling to drill down as per above?

• Finally, since people acquire your products, in whatever form, from various third parties, these too may need to update their product pages as applicable given the above. I noted for example that Pusherman has added a link to the QSG on his Cion product page, but again it is placed at the bottom of said page. Also, with the QSG not currently being available in the Support Docs subfolder, this may confuse the user regardless of the third party page.

Finally, any comments on the "musicality" of the Euro Kastle as per my PS above? Nearly all videos on Youtube feature droning noise-like textures, making it seem like a very random/chaos/S&H/unstable/etc thing not capable of anything more musical than that, but what would happen if you e.g. ran it through a gate/trig-enveloped filter? Can it hold a tone like a regular VCO tracking V/Oct? Or is it arguably more applicable as a modulation source, rather than for audio beyond the "ERROR" crowd? Bottom line, I'm confused, but intrigued, so please elaborate as applicable maybe? 🙂

Thank you for providing such comprehensive feedback; I truly value it and agree wholeheartedly with your observations. I'll review each point to see which I can implement. The supported files are now sorted by name by default. :-)

As far as the Quick Start Guides (QSG) are concerned, it is essential that these are available for download on the module websites, as users wanted to be able to download some sort of PDF manual (that was the actual trigger to create the guides). To take this into account, I have made the QSG download buttons clearly visible and large as an addition to the module description/manual. However, duplicating these files in the supporting files would effectively double the required file storage, due to technical constraints requiring separate storage for the file share app. Therefore, I've opted to maintain them where users, not necessarily builders, typically seek a module's manual – historically, manuals have always been linked to the module's website, rather than within the builders' supporting files area for builders.

In conclusion, I agree it will take some time for these changes to significantly impact the quantity and quality of questions regarding the module's functionality.

As far as EuroKastle is concerned, I would rather recommend another digital oscillator to achieve more “musicality”. Bastl Kastle, hence also EuroKastle, tend to cover the area of experimental, random sound generation.
