HI! I just built the chasing lights sequencer and it's working 95%... š
I have two issues:
A) The sequencer doesn't run when supplied with a clock from Shikensa, but the clock dividers work... when I supply the clock from the Doepfer A-160 the sequencer runs. So I discovered that when I boost the clock signal (no matter where it's from), the sequencer starts running at some point - the clock dividers work all the time. Also, when I feed a clock divider's output into, say, track B, then also nothing happens until I boost the clock. So I suspect that I need to check around the area on the pcb and/or the IC that's responsible for accepting and distributing the incoming clock signal - any pointers?
B) The trigger output A is always high (the led is lit), no matter if the punched in a sequence or not... Again, any hints where to look first?
Also, I don't know if you do this, but if you could supply the schematic I could look it up myself. If you don't, I understand! Thank you in advance!
I got it working!!
Oh, that was so stupid... I managed to mix up IC3 und U3... both 8-pin SOIC ICs...Curious how it worked like that, since the LM2931 voltage reference was in the input section of the clock signal and the TL072 did something in place of the LM2931 and provided apparently some supply voltage to the logic ICs, otherwise the clock dividers woundn't have worked. If it weren't for that, the module would have worked right away. Oh well... but it works now! Thank you for the support, now off to jamming š
