Hi all!
I recently had a DIY HANS build that arrived with pre-soldered SMD components. I built out the module without issues and everything mostly works as expected, except the resonance is very quiet. At 50% is not quite noticeable audibly or on a scope and at 100%, you can hear it screaming but at 25-50% of the starting volume. Comparing it to the module's demo video, it sounds incredibly different - not nearly as much resonance and at the higher ends much quieter.
I've done a quick pass on the module and didn't see anything that looked damaged or anything of that sorts - any chance someone has ran into similar or is able to point me in a direction in regards to where I might begin to look to fix this (or if this is maybe expected behavior even)?
I am experiencing the exact same resonance problem. I bought the kit where all SMD components came pre soldered from the factory, All i had to do is solder in the pots and jacks.
I checked and re-flowed all the associated components R19, C9, R31, and C18 as well as the 50K pot and still the resonance doesn't have any affect at 50% or even more. When resonance is cranked to 100% i can hear the resonance finally but the signal is a lot quieter.
Any other suggestions to try?
