Problems tuning Honey eater V/OCT

When I try to tune my honeyeater's V/OCT, I can't get it correct before the trimmer bottoms out. I've tried both directions turning the trimmer pot, and I've tried adusting the huugh frequency trimmer pot, but I cant get it to tune correctly. Any help would be apreciated. Thanks

Hey Valon, You should be able to tune it over at least 4 octaves.

Is it a DIY build or a prefabricated module? What method do you use for calibration? Thanks, Stefan

This was a DIY build. For tuning, I set up a sequencer to play C1 and C2, and then tried turning the V/Oct offset trimmer on the back untill they played the same note. I wasn't able to get them to play the smae note, even after turning the trimmer all the way on and all the way off. I'm including a picture of the finished module, just incase I soldered something incorectly.

Happy New Year! Looks well soldered, I don't recognise anything suspicious. It might be worth checking the soldered values of R2, C8, R3, C4 and R8. The V/OCT circuit is basically what is suggested in the CEM or AS3340 datasheet. If all else fails, you could try soldering in a 25k trimmer instead of 10k for V/OCT. Cheers, Stefan
