Hi Peter, Congratulations on your finished 1U toolbox - a good choice! 😉 The jumper is like a tiny switch that connects one of two choices to the circuit inside your module. If you put the jumper on the "UNI" side, the module works in unipolar mode, where the multiple attenuator knob only controls the signal going from zero to positive voltages (e.g. 0V to +5V). But if you put the jumper on the "BIP" side, it switches to bipolar mode, where the same knob controls the signal going from negative to positive voltages (e.g. -5V to +5V). It's just a little selector switch hidden on the back of the module. I wish you a good start to the new week! Cheers, Stefan

Good Morning Andreas, Yes, both inputs influence the bias current that controls the individual OTA gain. If the current at both inputs is equal, the gain for the wet and dry signals should also be equal when the potentiometer is in the mid-position, at least in theory. However, there are a few additional factors to keep in mind, such as the potentiometer's slight non-linearity, input buffer inversion for the wet signal, OTA matching, and ensuring the output mixing resistors (R90 and R97) have identical values. Okay, since all other trigger sources from different modules work fine with Chasing Lights, I suspect the issue is with the Shikensa trigger rather than Chasing Lights itself. Could you measure the voltage level of the triggers output from Shikensa? I checked it with my modules, and Chasing Lights happily eats Shikensa triggers. Cheers, Stefan

Hi Fetz, Assumming you are using Shikensa´s TRIG OUT as a clock source (and not the clock thru feature), have you tried changing Shikensa´s trigger length by adjusting the TRIG_L trimmer? You are patching the clock to A_Clock? And this clock also fails at the B and C Clock inputs? If OUT A LED is always lit, there might be an issue around U1 or U3 and surrounding parts. Hi Alter, (R208) and (R210) are not listed in the BOM and should not be soldered. They are merely placeholders for debugging the circuitry in specific cases. Simply leave them unsoldered and don’t worry about them. R210 should be soldered with an 18k resistor, looks good! ;-) I have added a note to the BOM. Thanks, Stefan

Hey Deso, Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions. A dual EFI setup is technically possible, but I don’t believe there’s enough demand to justify the costs for development, prototyping, and testing. Hey, The BOM lists switches from Aliexpress that connect pins 3 & 1 and 4 & 6 when not pressed. Thonk, however, offers switches that connect pins 2 & 3 and 5 & 6 when not pressed. This difference explains why the LED and TRIG response is reversed in your build. If you solder the ones mentioned in the BOM the sequencer, cycle and range will work as expected. Cheers, Stefan

Hey Daniel, It uses the Mutable Instruments Peaks algorithms, where you can switch between different audio and CV algorithms. This is the reason why you get scratchy noises at the output when you select a CV mode. If you don't get the output you want (kick drum or FM drum), just keep pressing the button until you hear a drum sound (assuming external triggers are connected). Then press the button for one second to switch between kick drum and FM drum modes. I have to admit that it's a strange way to have the other algos there. But firstly, I'm not good enough at programming to remove them, and secondly, I sometimes enjoy using the CV modes, especially in small cases where HP is scarce. It's fun to modulate the analogue drum from the first "voice" (with a CV algo loaded). You can find out which CV algos are available in the MI Peaks manual. The D.Mode button works in the same way as the function buttons in this manual. Hope this helps. Thanks, Stefan
